Wingfest & Laser Light Show at various times

Wingfest & Laser Light Show

We aren't just "wingin' it" anymore. After 20 years, we like to think we know what we're doing. Our keys to success? Invite the best local restaurants, add some handpicked bands, sprinkle in some kids activities, pour a little too much alcohol, and spark some semi-friendly competition. With the addition of the laser light show and wing eating contest, Wingfest keeps getting better and better. Explore our site to get the scoop on the Wingfest 2018 or take a look back at past winners and posters.

RBC Hertiage Golf Tournament at various times

RBC Heritage Logo

The RBC Heritage kicks off like no other event on the PGA TOUR. The past champion, Heritage Classic Foundation Board members, volunteers and state dignitaries parade around the Harbour Town Yacht Basin to the sounds of the Citadel's Pipe and Drum band. The past champion is presented with his Captain of Gentlemen Golfers plaque and continues the tradition of using an authentic hickory club to hit a featherie-style golf ball into the Calibogue Sound in unison with a cannon shot. Those shots officially begin the start of Tournament week and are a reenactment of a Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews tradition dating at least to the mid-18th century.

At Relay For Life events, no one faces cancer alone. We come together every year at more than 3,500 Relay events around the country to support and celebrate survivors and caregivers. Each Relay has special events and activities (many throughout the year) just for survivors and their caregivers, so they can connect with others and know there is a strong support system available to them.
