Courtside is located just a block and a half off South Forest Beach, on DeAllyon Avenue. The villas are conveniently located close to Van der Meer Tennis Center, and have access to two swimming pools. These villas are within a short bike ride to shops, restaurants, and tennis. This is close to the beach and a great place for an active family vacation.
Perfect size for my family of 5.
Pool immediately outside our backdoor. About a 10- 15 minutes walk to the beach. 5-10 minute walk to the grocery store. Close to everything. I would definitely stay here again in the future. Place was clean and had everything we needed including toys for the kids to take to the beach or pool.- Anonymous , Posted: 08/31/2018
Loved the villa, loved the location, loved Hilton Head and the beach at Coligny.
We couldn’t keep our grand-daughter out of the water, she loves to swim and she was at the pool a lot; there is a nice view of one of the two pools from the villa. We all went to the beach together a few times but the two grand-daughters (17 and 11-year old) went alone a few times too. We rented bikes and access to the public beach and shops was safe, easy for access, and lots to do within a few blocks of the villa. We did some restaurants in Coligny but we also drove out to Salty Dog and we went to Captain Woody’s on Target Road. The rental agency recommended some other restaurants that we tried too. It was nice to get some recommendations since there is a lot of choices. We all enjoyed ice cream too at the Frozen Moo - in the Coligny shopping area. I think if we could have been there longer the family would have tried all 92 flavors! We went to the Coastal Discovery center one day…it was a great place to visit, but it was hot walking around (but that is to be expected for August in South Carolina). They had an extra exhibit that day and the girls got to hold snakes and alligators. We also went on a dolphin boat ride one evening. It was nice going in the evening (at 6:00 pm) and we decided to use Dolphin Discoveries. They use smaller boats so there were only 6 passengers max on a trip. We saw lots of dolphins and the man running the boat was a great tour guide. He got us really close and one of the grand-daughters was very excited because she got a video of the dolphins doing ‘stranding’. I don’t know if you are familiar with this, but the dolphins force the fish they want to eat up on the shore. Pretty exciting to see! The villa is decorated very nice and was very comfortable, I like the floor plan. I liked the location was not in a gated community too. We have only been to Hilton Head once before and we were in Palmetto Dunes, it is nice to come and go without the gates. We only had rain one afternoon for about an hour. Great trip, great location, lots of fun!- Jean D from Cincinnati, OH, Posted: 08/17/2016
