What Are You Hungry For?

With over 200 restaurants to choose from on Hilton Head Island, it is hard to decide what to eat. I am here to give you a little insight on some new restaurants as well as some old faves.

When people come to the beach, they want seafood right? Seafood with a view? All you can eat crab legs or Lowcountry boil? A little shack?

Want to see the best sunsets with your dinner-then head to The Skull Creek Boathouse. Located on the north end of the Island, The Skull Creek Boathouse offers sushi, steaks and seafood. They are open for lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch.

Looking for endless crab legs? Make your way to Gillan’s Fresh Seafood and Oyster Bar. Recently opened mid-Island, in between Shipyard and Palmetto Dunes, Gillan’s has all you can eat crab legs on Monday and Tuesday nights and on Wednesday and Thursday nights, they have all you can eat Lowcountry boil. They also have a great happy hour and a fabulous oyster bar. Open for lunch and dinner.

The little hole in the wall place known as The Sea Shack, has some great seafood as well. Located out of the way on Pope Avenue Executive Road, The Sea Shack has sandwiches, fish and even gator tail for you adventurous ones out there. The Sea Shack is open for lunch and dinner and be sure to get their early as they tend to have a line waiting.

Of course Hilton Head Island just isn’t about seafood either. Who doesn’t want a pizza? Fat Baby’s Pizza and Subs is a gem on the Island too. Open for lunch and dinner, Fat Baby’s has your choice of pizza, salads and sandwiches. Fat Baby’s is on Arrow Road off of Palmetto Bay Road.

The South is known for their BBQ and One Hot Mama’s is no exception. Serving lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch, One Hot Mama’s has award winning BBQ just for you! You can find One Hot Mama’s just at the entrance to Sea Pines Plantation off of Greenwood Drive.

The BEST pancakes ever can be found at Southern Coney and Breakfast. This little diner is located in the Circle Center off of Pope Avenue. They are only open for breakfast and lunch and have daily specials as well.

There are still over 195 restaurants to choose from on Hilton Head Island but these are a just a few of my favorites. No matter what you are craving, there is a restaurant for you!

Oh, and by the way…all of these restaurants are family friendly as well. Be sure to call us here at 800-845-7017 if you have any questions or would like us to help you make reservations.
