Spring has finally sprung!!! Just a couple of weeks ago the season on Hilton Head started with Wine Fest and then the St. Patrick’s Day parade all in one lovely weekend. Easter Week brought a lot of visitors for their spring break and the weather was great. But after a long winter here on HHI we have what we’ve been waiting for – gorgeous weather and The Heritage Golf Tournament. The weather will be amazing with average temperature of 77 for the high and 57 for the lows and nothing but blue sky’s. If you aren’t here then be sure and check out what you are missing when you watch the Verizon Heritage on CBS this weekend.
April and May is always a great time to visit the island as the flowers (especially the azaleas) are in bloom all over and everything is greening up nicely. The weekend of April 24th there is a large Art Market at Honey Horn and the Seafood Festival at Shelter Cove Community Park. Sprinkled throughout May are different art influenced events from gallery walks to musicals and concerts by the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra. All in all it is a perfect time to get away from your everyday workaday.
Ride your bikes on the beach and our abundant bike paths. Sit at the ocean edge with your toes in the surf and enjoy weather that is not too hot and not too cold but just right. Everyone should come to Hilton Head in the spring at least once in their life as it is truly beautiful and oh so enjoyable.
