What a Great Family Story!

Check out this great story of this family who loves Island Club 5502! Even this picture is from their last stay right on the beach 🌊🌊🌊 “My husband and I discovered the Island Club a few years ago. We stayed at another condo, which was very nice, but when we found 5502, there was no looking back. The moment we enter the gate into Island Club, we feel at home and are excited about arriving after our long journey from Canada. Checking in is a pleasure, met with friendly familiar faces and welcoming smiles. We now return yearly and stay in 5502, a beautiful unit, we consider our home away from home. The kitchen is fully stocked and a joy to cook in. Everything is spotless. A private balcony where we watch the dolphins swim by and see our reserved chairs and umbrella being set up each morning. When we aren’t at the beach, we enjoy the pool, spotless and plenty of lounge chairs. Going back to the same unit yearly is something we did not think we would do, as we like to change it up when we vacation, but honestly, this is just too beautiful and welcoming, so why look further? Island Club has it all, and we are very excited to return 87 days – hey, but whose counting?”

Summer Is Winding Down And Schools Are Getting Back Into Session

Summer is winding down and schools are getting back into session-if you are not into crowds, then this is the perfect time to visit our little Island!

We have had a great summer here and hope you have as well-but in all honesty, to me, the Fall is the best time to come to Hilton Head. The weather is perfect for 18 holes of golf, biking the several miles of bike paths we have and even taking a kayak tour on the water here.

In all honesty-I have lived here all my life and never taken a kayak tour until this past week. I called Kayak Hilton Head because I was looking for something different to do with my two boys who are 7 and 10. They put us in the same kayak together. It was a 2 hour guided tour of the Broad Creek. Broad Creek is the water way that is situated behind Shelter Cove. The guide we had was very knowledgeable about the local waters and the animals that live in the waters and around them. That day there were several other families signed up for the same time as we went out but the company had several guides available and sent us out into much smaller groups. It wasn’t a rushed tour-we were able to take our time. Being a first timer in a kayak, I was very skeptical as to how it would be. It was so easy to maneuver and it was not hard to paddle either.

In the two hours-we saw several dolphins feeding, sea birds in the marsh grass and shrimp scampering across the water. It was very calm and peaceful out there. No fear of flipping over. Gentle breezes were also in our favor that day as well. We had such a wonderful time-we can’t wait to do it again!

If this sounds like something you want to do-call Kayak Hilton Head! It is a little off the beaten path of Hilton Head. They are located next door to the Broad Creek Marina, just to the left of Up the Creek Pub. Their phone number is 843-684-1910. Here is the link to their website as well www.kayakhiltonhead.com. If kayaking isn’t something that suits you-they also have daily guaranteed dolphin boat tours and family shark fishing tours. So give them a call today-tell them that Stacey sent you!

Make sure to call us for your vacation rental needs at 800-845-7017. We can also help you set up the kayak tours, bike rentals and just about any other activity on the Island. We hope to see you soon!
