Check out this great story of this family who loves Island Club 5502! Even this picture is from their last stay right on the beach 🌊🌊🌊 “My husband and I discovered the Island Club a few years ago. We stayed at another condo, which was very nice, but when we found 5502, there was no looking back. The moment we enter the gate into Island Club, we feel at home and are excited about arriving after our long journey from Canada. Checking in is a pleasure, met with friendly familiar faces and welcoming smiles. We now return yearly and stay in 5502, a beautiful unit, we consider our home away from home. The kitchen is fully stocked and a joy to cook in. Everything is spotless. A private balcony where we watch the dolphins swim by and see our reserved chairs and umbrella being set up each morning. When we aren’t at the beach, we enjoy the pool, spotless and plenty of lounge chairs. Going back to the same unit yearly is something we did not think we would do, as we like to change it up when we vacation, but honestly, this is just too beautiful and welcoming, so why look further? Island Club has it all, and we are very excited to return 87 days – hey, but whose counting?”

Resort Rentals of Hilton Head and Hilton Head Vacation Rentals are the New “Dynamic Duo” for Home and Villa Rentals on Hilton Head Island
Two of the most popular vacation rental companies on Hilton Head Island will combine their efforts to offer the most unparalleled inventory of vacation rental homes and villas the area has ever seen. Resort Rentals of Hilton Head Island has been in business since 1958 and provides service for 235 vacation rental homes and villas, while Hilton Head Vacation Rentals has been in business since 1979 and manages 271 short-term rental properties. As two of the most established rental management companies on the island, this “dynamic duo” has assisted countless visitors in fulfilling their dream vacations and helped them to create memories that will last a lifetime.
Gerard Mahieu, who is the owner of Resort Rentals of Hilton Head, had this to say about the combination of the two companies, “The merger with Hilton Head Vacation Rentals will now be a dynamic organization that by retaining the personnel from each company further strengthens the quality of services and expertise that the customers for each entity have come to expect for more than four decades”. The staff at Resort Rentals includes Mark Westbrook who is the Broker-in- charge and has over 30 years of experience in the business on Hilton Head Island. Bill Haley, Senior Vice President, also has over 30 years of experience in the vacation rental industry on Hilton Head Island and is the former owner of Hilton Head Oceanfront Rentals, which he later sold to ResortQuest then purchased by Wyndham Rentals.
Paul Cale, who has been the owner and Broker-in charge for Hilton Head Vacation Rentals for over 20 years, added, “We feel strongly that by joining forces with Resort Rentals of Hilton Head Island, we will be able to realize our long term strategic goals in a shorter period of time since each company’s inventory will complement one another as opposed to competing against each other.” The staff at Hilton Head Vacation Rentals includes the General Manager Mike Wood who has over 20 years of experience in the vacation rental industry including time in Hilton Head as well as at AA Oceanfront Rentals of Maui, Hawaii, an Associa Member company.
Collectively, the combined staff of Resort Rentals of Hilton Head Island with that of Hilton Head Vacation Rentals will offer the highest level of expertise and quality available on Hilton Head Island in marketing and management of vacation rental properties.
