Designed and opened in 1991, this Arthur Hills designed golf course is a graceful work of design, which takes you back to the days when courses flowed naturally from one hole to the next. Utilizing every yard of the beautiful natural surrounding landscape, the Hills Course has undulating fairways, strategic water hazards and is cut through huge pine and oak trees. But don뭪 think it is resting on its laurels the putting surfaces were part of a 2005 renovation.
This course has many challenging features and the signature hole, number 18, a 434 yard, par 4, finishes around a huge lake to the left and is lined on the right by magnificent trees and undulating terrain.
The courses at Palmetto Hall rotate as private on a monthly basis, with certain tee times reserved for members only.
This course is located in close proximity to the Hilton Head airport and the hospital. Turn off of 278 onto Beach City Road and Palmetto Hall Plantation will be on the North side of the road. Follow signs to the Palmetto Hall clubhouse.
